From this white paper you will learn how to use newest iStorage Server 2.50 feature - virtual CD/DVD-RW burner with auto-loader. This is the first time when software iSCSI target is equipped with such feature that is allowing to export virtual CD/DVD-RW burner as a iSCSI target. All files are burned to ISO file, so you don't need to have any optical disks.
Auto-loader feature make sure that after burning process is finished, new blank image is mounted in its place. It is perfect solution for creating backups and centralized management. |
