KernSafe CloudNFS is a type of NAS & NFS software which is enterprise level file system sharing, encrypting and private cloud solution, which provide network virtual file system can support true transparent (on the fly) data encryption, can fully make enterprise data to be centralized and protected. The software provides multiple level of access control include read-write and read-only, and also allows each encryption set can be encrypted by separated password.

KernSafe CloudNFS provides built-in http server and web based management system, which allows any client manage the storage system, such as Windows, Linux, MacOS X and Mobiles.

Using KernSafe CloudNFS is quite easy, the software is designed as client-server architecture, so you need install two parts on both server and client machines.

On server side, after installed CloudNFS server, you need set  up users, groups and CloudNFS datastores. You can launch CloudNFS management system via internet browser. Then click the Users link.

from the Users management window, you can click the Add User button to create an user.

Type user name and passwords, then click the Save button to create user.

In the main windows of the management system, click Groups link

From the Group management window, click the Add Group button.

 

Type group name and select the user we just created, then click the Create button to create the group.

Now, we can create CloudNFS Datastore, click the CloudNFS link on the left menu.

In the CloudNFS management window, click the Add Datastore.

Type the datastore name, select a folder for the datastore and choose other options.

Then select the new created group to Full Access Groups.

Click the Add CloudNFS button to create datastore.

Now server side configuration is finish, we can set up client.

Launch the CloudNFS client tool.

Click the Mount button.

Type Server address and port, then click the R button.

From the Path dropdown list, select CloudNFS.

Type user name and password, then click the OK button to mount.

Now we successfully mounted NFS disk to Y.
