Replication Application Setting HAReplicator User Manual

Click ' Properties' on the pop-up menu of one of the existing replication application, you will see the Application Properties window. You can set the replication application's parameter as follows;

1. General

Service Type: Replication application type, can be HA Replication, Remote Replication, Image Replication etc.
Device Info: Device information of the source storage.
Status: Status of the current application.
Identifier: Identity information of the source storage.

2. Device Settings

Change to Settings page, there will be a few type of setting page determinated by application type.

HA Replication:

Remote Portal: The remote server's network adapter address for accepting data transmitting.
Remote Port: The remote server's management port.
Local Portal: Local server's network adapter address which used for data transmitting.
Local Port: Local TCP/IP port, used for binding, normally it should be Any.  

User name: Logon user name to the remote server.
Password: Logon password to the remote server.

Click the Apply or OK button to complete application settings, the settings will be take effect immediately.

Remote Replication:

Target: Remote iSCSI target settings, click the Edit button to modify, please refer to: Creating iSCSI SAN remote replication.
Portal: Select an network address for transmitting data of the remote iSCSI target.
Local Portal:
Local server's network adapter address which used for data transmitting.
Local Port: Local TCP/IP port, used for binding, normally it should be Any.  

Synchronize method: For learn difference between synchronous and asynchronous replication, please read the topic: synchronous and asynchronous.

Click the Apply or OK button to complete application settings, the settings will be take effect immediately.

File Image Replication:

Mirror file: Local image file in another drive for mirroring data from source storage.
Synchronize method: For learn difference between synchronous and asynchronous replication, please read the topic: synchronous and asynchronous.
