Synchronous Replication KernSafe Storage Center

Synchronous replication mirrors every write from the source target to a second destination before the I/O is acknowledged. This provides strong data consistency and is commonly used when you need a RAID-1 style mirror across two targets. The destination can be a local image file or a remote iSCSI target.

1. Create Synchronous Replication Application:

Step 1. Open Replications and click Add to open the replication wizard.
