Use SMTP notifications to send email alerts when the storage server encounters operational issues.

Open Storage Management > Server Pools, select a pool, click Settings, and then switch to the SMTP Notify tab.

Enable SMTP notification when server experiences some difficulties and then configure the following sections:

1. SMTP Server Settings
Enter the SMTP server address and TCP port used to send notification email.

2. Authorization (Optional)
If the SMTP server requires authentication, enter the login name and password for the mail account.

3. Mailing
Specify the sender address and the recipients for notification messages, including optional CC and BCC recipients.
