KernSafe iSCSI SAN 7.0 continues the platform's broad compatibility across Windows, Windows clustering, Hyper-V, Linux, Solaris, Citrix XenServer, and VMware ESX Server while focusing on storage-path performance improvements.

Version 7.0 introduces a more performance-oriented storage architecture:
Optimized I/O Processing, which reduces software bottlenecks in the data path.
Advanced Memory Cache, which improves hot-data handling and latency.
Multi-Level Storage Tiering, which improves data placement across different storage classes.
Persistent Cache Support, which adds SSD cache, read cache, and persistent read/write cache with support for Persistent Memory technologies such as SCM and Optane.
