In our documents, the backup servers and workstations to be backup we called backup nodes, or called as backup clients. The server which installed K-Backup Server or KernSafe iSCSI SAN (iStorage Server) to perform as a datacenter we called backup server.

To backup these clients to backup server, you can run KernSafe K-Backup in backup client and run K-Backup Server in backup server or you can also run free / commercial iStorage Server (iSCSI SAN) in backup server to perform datacenter, but there are some difference between the two schemes:
