KernSafe SuperSAN X is an advanced and powerful iSCSI target solution for macOS, designed to quickly transform Mac Pro, iMac, Mac mini, and MacBook Pro systems into high-performance iSCSI SAN servers.
As a full-featured iSCSI SAN software solution, SuperSAN X provides robust authentication and access control mechanisms, including CHAP, Mutual CHAP, and IP address–based authorization. It supports a wide range of storage media types, including standard image files, VHDs, volumes, and physical disks.
SuperSAN X also delivers enterprise-class features such as SCSI-3 persistent reservations for clustering, synchronous and asynchronous replication, high availability, snapshots, and Continuous Data Protection (CDP).

Server Requirements:

· macOS 10.10 or later
· Supports Intel-based Macs and Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, and newer)
· Supported platforms include Mac mini, MacBook Pro, Mac Pro, Mac Studio, and iMac
· Modern multi-core processor recommended
· Minimum 2 GB RAM (8 GB or more recommended for enterprise workloads)
· Minimum 200 MB free disk space for application installation and logs
· Additional storage capacity required for shared storage services
· Gigabit Ethernet or higher-speed network connection recommended

· Microsoft Windows xp / Windows Server 2008 R2 or later (32-bit and 64-bit) with Microsoft iSCSI Initiator
· Linux with Kernel 2.6.32 or later using open-iscsi
· Citrix XenServer
· VMware ESX / ESXi Server
· Oracle Solaris 10 or later with Open-iSCSI Initiator
· Novell NetWare 6.5 or later

Hardware Requirements:
· Modern x86_64 or ARM64 multi-core processor
· Minimum 2 GB RAM (4 GB or more recommended)
· Minimum 200 MB free disk space for application installation
